County conventions are local meetings where precinct delegates (and, in some counties, members) handle party business and select delegates and alternates for state-level events. For 2026, the Michigan Republican Party has announced a strategic early State Endorsement Convention scheduled for March 28, 2026. County-level meetings are one step in that delegate selection process.
State Endorsement Convention (MIGOP): Scheduled for March 28, 2026; MIGOP lists offices up for endorsement including Attorney General, Secretary of State, two Michigan Supreme Court seats, two State Board of Education seats, and university boards. Official MIGOP page
