Michigan Republican Primary matched the 82-county state export to Wayne County’s base returns and its separately posted 12-precinct report for Belleville, Sumpter and Van Buren Township. Read the Wayne County supplement.

All 11 statewide contests and U.S. House District 6 display the combined government returns. The other 12 congressional districts display WDIV votes. WDIV supplies the winner and outcome markers for all 24 contests. The audit below keeps the two sets of counts separate.

The results feeds were rechecked November 4 at 11:53 p.m. EST, with the same vote totals and winner markers as the 5:47 p.m. edition. Wayne’s two PDF reports were also rechecked and are unchanged. Wayne County’s clerk identifies a separate manual entry for Northville City precinct 1. The statewide comparison includes returns from 769 of Wayne’s 770 precincts and District 6 includes 89 of 90 in Wayne.

Calls, counts and certification: “Media call” means a WDIV winner or outcome marker. All 24 contests on this page have those markers, including two winners in each two-seat contest. That does not mean every vote has been counted. Precinct counters are not ballot-completion estimates. Late eligible ballots, provisional-ballot decisions and canvass corrections can change totals.

Shares and coverage: Every active named candidate in the official field is included. Generic write-ins are excluded consistently from totals and percentages; their reporting differs between sources. In two-seat contests, percentages divide candidate votes by all displayed candidate votes, so they are not voter percentages. No race totals are added together to estimate statewide turnout.

Flips and scope: Congressional flips compare the reported 2026 winner’s party with the certified 2024 winning party. The page covers 11 statewide contests and 13 congressional districts. State legislative results have their own linked dashboards. Local races and lower-court contests are outside this page’s scope.

Review the state-and-county comparison for all 24 contests

These totals sum named-candidate votes, or Yes/No votes for proposals. The government-source column combines the state export with the applicable Wayne returns, including the 12-precinct supplement. A negative WDIV difference means the government-source count is larger. It is not a certified or complete statewide result. More than one vote per voter is permitted in the five two-seat contests.
